  1. Choose Long Distance Prefix from the Dial menu to display a list of long distance carrier prefixes (Default Carrier, Credit Card, or MCI, for example).  Choose one of these to use as the long distance prefix for your calls.

  3. Use Dialing Preferences to add new long distance prefixes.  See “Setting dialing preferences” in Chapter 3 of your manual for instructions on entering long distance prefixes.
